Baghdad: Minister of Communications Mustafa Sanad discussed, on Wednesday, the expansion of the secure government network and the adoption of 5G technologies with the company Taurus Arm.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Communications stated that the discussions focused on plans to expand the secure government LTE network project. The goal is to extend service coverage to all government institutions, thereby enhancing their performance levels and increasing connection speeds.

The Ministry further elaborated that by integrating the latest 5G technologies, the initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of the government’s digital infrastructure. This move is expected to support digital transformation requirements and enable the delivery of more advanced and secure services.
