Baghdad: A vehicle altered for the illegal transportation of petroleum products was intercepted by the Diyala Police for violating transportation laws. The vehicle was intended for smuggling activities when it was seized.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that the police force was conducting routine duties on the Khanaqin-Saadiya road, located northeast of Baquba, when they discovered the modified vehicle. This vehicle was found to be transporting petroleum products unlawfully.

The authorities confiscated both the vehicle and the petroleum products, and the driver has been handed over to relevant regulatory authorities. Legal actions have been initiated against the driver for the illegal modification and transportation activities.
