MoH in Gaza Reports Seven New Deaths Due to Famine and Malnutrition


Gaza: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has recorded seven new deaths, including two children, attributed to famine and malnutrition within the past 24 hours. This recent development raises the total number of famine-related deaths in the region to 420, with 145 of these victims being children.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health stated that in addition to the famine-related deaths, 47 martyrs and 205 new injuries were reported at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours. This brings the total death toll from Israeli attacks to 64,803 and injuries to 164,264 since October 7, 2023.



The ministry further reported that hospitals have received five aid victims and 26 injuries in the past day alone, increasing the total number of victims seeking food aid to 2,484 martyrs and more than 18,117 injuries. The statement emphasized the dire situation as hospitals continue to record fatalities due to famine and malnutrition, underscoring the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
