Baghdad: Mohammed al-Halbousi, the head of the Progress Party, met with the French Ambassador, Patrick Durel, on Sunday. The meeting took place on the occasion of the conclusion of Durel's mission in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion focused on the bilateral relations between Iraq and France. Both parties explored ways to enhance joint cooperation and extend support to the Iraqi government across various fields. The talks also covered developments in the regional situation.
