Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior warned on Saturday against the use of artificial intelligence to produce indecent videos.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that the Committee for Indecent Content has been vigilant in monitoring the activities of certain individuals who are misusing artificial intelligence to create videos that contain indecent content or language that contradicts the cultural and moral values of Iraqi society.

The Ministry emphasized that those found guilty of such actions will face severe legal consequences in collaboration with the Iraqi judiciary. The Ministry is committed to ensuring that the law is enforced rigorously against such violations.

In an effort to safeguard public values, the Ministry urged citizens to work closely with security agencies by reporting any individuals or content that violates public decency. Reports can be submitted through the ‘Report’ platform on the ‘Ain Iraq’ website, with assurances that all information provided will be handled confidentially to maintain social peace and upholding public morals.
