Baghdad: The Ministry of Transport announced the arrival of the second shipment of ground equipment for Nasiriyah International Airport.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Airport Director Ali Al-Gharabi mentioned in a ministry statement that this new shipment is part of ongoing deliveries aimed at equipping the airport with essential operational vehicles and equipment. These resources are intended to serve aircraft and passengers following the completion of the airport's construction phases.

Al-Gharabi further explained that the arriving equipment is a critical component of the airport's operational infrastructure needs. This will boost the airport's future operational readiness by providing technical and ground support services aligned with international airport operation standards.
