Al-siniya: Dozens of municipal workers in the Al-Siniya district, north of Diwaniyah, are demonstrating to protest the cutting of their salaries. The protest highlights the workers’ frustration with the delay in receiving their wages, which they rely on for their livelihood.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the workers are demanding that both local and central governments, along with the Ministry of Finance, take immediate action to release their salaries. The workers have indicated that they will cease work activities until their payment issues are resolved.
