Najaf: The Najaf Governorate Police Command announced the seizure of 10 light weapons during a security operation in the Al-Barakiya area. The Tactical Regiment conducted the operation with specific directives from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Police Affairs and an order from Najaf Police Chief, Major General Mohammed Jaber Dhiab Al-Fatlawi, in collaboration with the Kufa District Police Directorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation resulted in the confiscation of 10 light weapons, which were subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities for necessary legal proceedings. The Command emphasized that this operation is part of broader security measures designed to target violators, seize unlicensed weapons, and improve the overall security and stability in the area.
