Najaf: The Najaf Governorate Council has approved the allocation of 750 million Iraqi dinars for the Middle Euphrates Cancer Center, part of a comprehensive funding initiative totaling 1.25 billion dinars.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision was made during an extraordinary session of the council on Saturday. The session was specifically organized to evaluate the health infrastructure and address the requirements of the Middle Euphrates Cancer Center. Key attendees included the Director General of the Najaf Health Department and the Director of the Middle Euphrates Cancer Center.
The council’s media center reported that this latest allocation of 750 million dinars supplements a prior commitment of 500 million dinars to the center. Of the previous allocation, 200 million dinars have already been dispensed, culminating in a total disbursement of 1.25 billion Iraqi dinars to date.
