Najaf: The Chief of Police in Najaf Governorate, Major General Mohammed Al-Fatlawi, received Legal Major General Mansour Ali Sultan, the Assistant Deputy Minister of Interior for the Affairs of Organizing and Controlling Weapons in the Hands of the State.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Colonel Mufeed Salem, Media Director of Najaf Police, noted that the visit was part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to reinforce the rule of law, control unlicensed weapons, and enhance the safety and security of citizens. The meeting was in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior.

He further explained that the meeting, attended by leaders from various security agencies in the governorate, focused on mechanisms for joint coordination and the implementation of security plans. These plans are designed to curb the phenomenon of uncontrolled weapons, thereby contributing to stability and public safety in Najaf Governorate.
