Baghdad: The National Security Service has announced the introduction of a centralized electronic system designed to manage both intelligence and field operations aimed at securing the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National Security Service has launched this system as part of their security plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. This centralized electronic system connects operations rooms and field detachments through more than 1,000 tablets. It allows for real-time monitoring of the security situation, managing duties, and analyzing information. The system ensures direct transmission of data to both the office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the head of the National Security Service.

The Service further stated that the system has already contributed to the submission of over 16 preemptive intelligence reports, which were addressed in accordance with legal and security procedures. Additionally, the Service's detachments have successfully arrested 10 individuals accused of affiliating with extremist movements, based on judicial decisions from the Karbala Court of Appeals.
