Jerusalem:The Israeli Elections Committee has announced that 85.6% of the votes have been counted in the ongoing elections. Current results show that Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc has secured 53 seats, while the camp associated with Gadi Eisenkot has obtained 48 seats. Additionally, Arab parties have achieved 19 seats.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the results were reported by a Hebrew-media agency which confirmed the same percentage of vote counting, reflecting the seat distribution among the competing blocs.
Furthermore, the agency highlighted the presence of approximately 480,000 ‘double-envelope’ ballots, which include absentee and special ballots. These ballots remain to be counted and could potentially influence the final results.
