The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Monday, the arrest of 9 wanted persons in various cases in Babylon Governorate.
The Ministry said in a statement: ‘As part of its continuous efforts to impose security and stability in Babylon Governorate, the Babylon Police Command, in cooperation with other security services, carried out extensive security operations that included most areas of responsibility, which resulted in Achieving positive results, as 6 wanted persons were arrested according to various legal articles, 58 traffic violations were recorded, and two violating vehicles were seized.’
She added: “The detachments of the Control Affairs Department were able, during their operations at the main checkpoints, to arrest three wanted persons in various cases, one of whom is accused of three cases, two of which are terrorism cases, in addition to seizing a quantity of drugs and arresting the person in possession of them, in addition to arresting two foreigners for violating the residency conditions.’
