Nineveh: A source in the Nineveh Health Directorate reported a confirmed case of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) in a man in his forties from the Qayyarah district, following the confirmation of the diagnosis through central laboratory tests.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, there are two suspected cases of CCHF currently awaiting laboratory test results to confirm their status. The source emphasized the ongoing efforts in monitoring these suspected cases and the implementation of essential health measures to curb the spread of the disease.
