Numerous Arab Leaders Confirm Attendance at Baghdad Summit

Baghdad: A significant number of Arab leaders, kings, and presidents have officially confirmed their attendance at the upcoming Arab summit. Government Spokesman Bassem Al-Awadi announced that these confirmations were sent through notifications to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Awadi emphasized that the Baghdad summit embodies Iraq's founding and active role in the Arab system. The meeting is expected to consolidate political and security stability in the region. He stated that the upcoming summit is anticipated to be one of the most mature Arab summits in terms of representation and quality of attendance.

Al-Awadi further explained that Iraq, along with influential countries such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt, has been instrumental in establishing the Arab system. This system is based on holding a periodic summit that brings together Arab leaders every two years or more to discuss crucial Arab decisions. He highlighted that hosting the summit in Baghdad is significant, reflecting the maturity of the Iraqi state and its capability to host Arab leaders and kings while addressing fundamental Arab issues.
