Damascus:An official reception ceremony was held today for Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi at Damascus International Airport in the Syrian capital. The event marked the commencement of his visit to Syria, with Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa present to welcome the Prime Minister. The ceremony included a review of the honor guard.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi is scheduled to engage in bilateral talks with President Al-Sharaa. These discussions will focus on strengthening and developing bilateral relations across various fields.

In addition to the bilateral talks, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi and President Al-Sharaa will co-chair an expanded meeting between the delegations from both countries. This meeting aims to discuss joint cooperation that will benefit the mutual interests of the peoples and the two brotherly nations.
