Official Working Hours Reduced in Kirkuk Due to High Temperatures

Kirkuk: Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Saman Agha has directed a reduction in official working hours at the governorate headquarters and its departments and administrative units due to the high temperatures. Working hours will be from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM until the end of August.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision has been implemented in response to the intense heat experienced in the region, which is affecting the daily activities of employees and residents. The governorate aims to alleviate the impact of the high temperatures by adjusting the working schedule, allowing employees to avoid the peak heat hours of the day.

This change in the working hours is expected to provide some relief to the employees and is a part of the broader efforts to ensure the well-being of the public during this period of extreme weather conditions. The governorate has urged other sectors to consider similar adjustments as necessary to ensure the safety and health of the community.
