Parliamentary Request to Allocate Funds for Appointment of Degree Holders and Top Graduates

Baghdad: Members of Parliament submitted a formal request to the Ministry of Finance to appoint holders of higher degrees and top graduates “who have been issued job codes but whose appointment procedures have not been completed” in order to include the necessary financial allocations for them in the 2027 general budget.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the request aims to address the situation of individuals who have already been issued job codes but are still awaiting the completion of their appointment procedures. The parliamentarians are seeking to ensure that the necessary financial allocations are made in the upcoming general budget to facilitate these appointments.

The move underscores a legislative push to prioritize the integration of skilled individuals into the workforce, emphasizing the need for the Ministry of Finance to consider these allocations as part of the planning process for the 2027 budget. This initiative is deemed crucial for optimizing the utilization of qualified talent in various sectors.
