Baghdad: Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized the importance of maintaining communication between Iraq and Greece in all sectors and areas of mutual interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during his meeting with the Greek Ambassador to Iraq, Georgios Almanos, al-Sudani stressed the importance of implementing the outcomes of the ninth session of the Iraqi-Greek Joint Committee, which was held in Baghdad.

The Greek Ambassador expressed his government's desire to expand cooperation with Iraq in all fields, particularly with the opening of a direct flight route between Baghdad and Athens.
