Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Wednesday the capture of a member of the ISIS terrorist group in Nineveh.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a PMF statement indicated that a joint force from the 75th Brigade, under the Nineveh Operations Command of the PMF, in conjunction with the National Security Service/West Nineveh Security Directorate, the Nineveh Security Directorate/Al-Aysar District Center, the Nineveh Special Operations Company, and forces from the Iraqi Army and Nineveh Police, carried out a successful security operation in the Rabi’a district.

The statement added that the operation resulted in the arrest of the accused, identified as (S. N.), who was wanted under the provisions of Article (1/4 Terrorism) while he was in the Rabi’a district. Legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigation in accordance with legal procedures.
