Karbala: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have initiated their service plan for the Arba’een pilgrimage in the holy city of Karbala. This significant commencement was announced by the PMF on Friday, marking the beginning of their efforts to facilitate the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF’s Service and Engineering Directorate is leading the implementation of the service plan, following directives from PMF Chief of Staff, Abdul Aziz al-Muhammadawi. The operations are being carried out in close coordination with the Governor of Karbala to ensure smooth execution.

The statement from the PMF highlighted the deployment of vehicles and specialized personnel across various axes of Karbala. These teams are tasked with conducting cleaning operations, preparing roads, and supporting service departments. The aim is to provide essential services that aid the millions of pilgrims arriving for the Arba’een pilgrimage.

This initiative is part of a broader service plan crafted by the Service and Engineering Directorate. It involves collaboration with governmental, security, and service agencies to deliver optimal services, bolster the governorate’s efforts, and secure the success of the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
