Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, has underscored the importance of maintaining Iraq’s rich religious and social diversity while reinforcing the principles of coexistence and fraternity across the nation’s various communities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of Mandaean Sabeans, led by Bashar Faisal Sabti, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Sabean Affairs, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad. The Presidential Media Office noted that the discussion focused on the necessity of preserving Iraq’s unique cultural fabric and promoting national unity by safeguarding the rights of all citizens.
