Baghdad: The President of the Republic affirmed the necessity of consolidating civil and societal coexistence and establishing the values of citizenship and fraternity among the components of the Iraqi people. President Nizar Amidi emphasized the importance of these values during a meeting held with Rayan al-Kaldani, the head of the Babylon Movement, in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Presidential Media Office released a statement indicating that the discussions between President Amidi and Rayan al-Kaldani also covered the current situation and developments within the country. President Amidi highlighted the importance of supporting the government in implementing its program and prioritizing efforts that contribute to reform, development, and the enhancement of services for citizens.

President Amidi reiterated the need to reinforce civil and social coexistence while promoting the values of citizenship and fraternity among the Iraqi population to ensure stability and effectively address challenges.

Rayan al-Kaldani expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with President Amidi and praised the Presidential role in fostering civil and social harmony. He also pledged his support for initiatives aimed at the ongoing development of state structures and institutions.
