President Nizar Amidi Highlights Need for Enhanced Support to Health Institutions


Karbala: President Nizar Amidi has underscored the necessity of bolstering health institutions to ensure the provision of advanced medical care to citizens.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi visited Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba Hospital as part of his trip to the holy city of Karbala. He was greeted by the hospital’s director, Dr. Hussein Ali Al-Hakim, along with various medical and administrative staff members. During his visit, President Amidi received a briefing on the hospital’s current status, the range of medical and health services it offers, its key specialties and treatment capabilities, as well as the essential needs and requirements for enhancing its operations and improving service levels for patients and visitors.



President Amidi reiterated the importance of supporting and strengthening the capabilities of health institutions to deliver advanced medical care to citizens. He lauded the medical, health, and administrative staff for their dedicated efforts in fulfilling their duties and serving the residents of the province.



The visit also included a tour of the hospital departments, where President Amidi engaged with doctors and healthcare staff. He emphasized the need to provide a conducive working environment and support their efforts to deliver optimal healthcare services.
