Baghdad:The President of the Republic of Iraq received the Sudanese Ambassador to Iraq, Abdelrahim Sir al-Khatim Abdelrahman, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad to mark the conclusion of the ambassador’s diplomatic mission.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the President praised the ambassador’s efforts in Iraq, highlighting his contributions to strengthening bilateral relations and fostering joint cooperation between Iraq and Sudan. The President also extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s future endeavors.

The Sudanese Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the strong ties between Iraq and Sudan, and affirmed Sudan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and expanding collaborative efforts to benefit the mutual interests of both countries.
