Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed the commitment to strengthening cooperation with the United States and the importance of supporting efforts to consolidate stability in Iraq and enhance its security and sovereignty. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and the development of the existing partnership between Baghdad and Washington. The President affirmed his commitment to strengthening cooperation with the United States and the importance of supporting efforts to consolidate stability in Iraq and enhance its security and sovereignty. He also emphasized the importance of joint coordination on regional issues to contribute to achieving security and peace in the region.

For his part, the Charg© d’Affaires expressed his country’s appreciation for the depth of relations with Iraq and its readiness to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in a way that serves the interests of both peoples and contributes to supporting regional stability.
