Ashgabat: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met with the President of Turkmenistan, Berdimuhamedov, to discuss relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a presidential statement indicated that President Rashid met with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat during his official visit to participate in the International Forum on Peace and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (IFPC).

The meeting focused on addressing relations between the two nations and the importance of strengthening them to serve the interests of both peoples. Additionally, the leaders discussed a number of issues and files of common interest.
