Berlin: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi was officially received today in the German capital by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, “The ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of both countries and a review of the guard of honor.” During the visit, al-Zaidi held a bilateral meeting with the German Chancellor and extensive talks between the two countries’ delegations, focusing on ways to enhance cooperation and bilateral partnership in various fields and sectors.
