Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi Reaffirms Commitment to Government Program Implementation

Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi affirmed the government's commitment to proceeding with the implementation of its program. A statement from the Prime Minister's office indicated that al-Zaidi met today, Sunday, with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, where they discussed the latest political, security, and economic developments, in addition to a number of national issues, foremost among them the fight against corruption.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to implementing its program and continuing its steps and measures taken to combat corruption and consolidate the rule of law, thereby contributing to the protection of public funds and supporting administrative and economic reform efforts.

For his part, Ammar al-Hakim praised the government's measures in the field of combating corruption, stressing the importance of their continuation within legal and institutional frameworks, in a way that strengthens citizens' trust in state institutions. He also commended the government's approach to establishing genuine and balanced regional and international partnerships to enhance Iraq's regional and international standing and support opportunities for development and stability.
