Prime Minister and Al-Hakim Stress the Need to Proceed with Government Formation

Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and the head of the National Hikma Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, emphasized on Sunday the necessity of unifying the positions of all national political forces and proceeding with the completion of the government formation.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a press release that “Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi met with the head of the National Hikma Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim. During the meeting, they reviewed the overall situation in the country, the government’s efforts and plans to implement the provisions of the government program, to complete the reform process, combat corruption, and achieve reconstruction, development, and stability throughout the country.”

“The meeting also included an emphasis on the necessity of unifying the positions of all national political forces and proceeding with the completion of the government formation to strengthen the government’s steps and procedures in confronting challenges and enhancing Iraq’s security and stability,” according to the statement.
