Prime Minister and Sheikh Hammoudi Stress Need to Expedite Government Formation


Baghdad:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and Sheikh Humam Hammoudi, Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met to discuss the urgent need to finalize the government’s formation.



According to Iraqi News Agency, they highlighted the necessity of moving forward with government programs aimed at addressing various challenges.



The meeting, attended by Sheikh Hammoudi and his delegation, focused on national issues, especially those impacting citizens’ lives, public services, and the economy.



They stressed the importance of completing the government formation process and implementing plans to address significant challenges. Key areas of concern included crude oil exports, the development of the electricity sector, and the diversification of support sources for the Iraqi economy.
