Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and the Charg© d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Iraq, Steven Fagin, emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomatic means to reduce tensions, thereby strengthening security and stability in the region and safeguarding the interests of its people.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a press release that Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi received the Charg© d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Iraq, Steven Fagin. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States and expanding cooperation across various sectors and fields, contributing to strengthening the partnership between the two nations.

The meeting also examined the overall situation in the region. Both leaders stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomatic measures to reduce tensions, which would enhance security and stability and safeguard the interests of the region’s people.
