New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met with Ross Perot, Chairman of U.S. Company HKN Energy, and his delegation to discuss the company’s projects in Iraq.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister urged HKN Energy to increase its efforts and expedite work on its projects and contractual commitments in Iraq, with a focus on boosting oil production.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the government’s plans to host the Baghdad Energy Conference, which will introduce new exploration blocks in Iraq, offering substantial investment opportunities for international companies. He assured that the government is committed to removing obstacles and resolving issues that might hinder the implementation of projects and fulfillment of contractual obligations.

HKN Energy’s delegation expressed their willingness to cooperate further, promising to increase working hours and speed up project implementation to meet objectives more efficiently.
