Baghdad: The Foreign Ministry is engaging with the Turkish ambassador to finalize arrangements for the Prime Minister's forthcoming visit to Ankara. The discussions are part of a broader dialogue on bilateral issues of mutual interest.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ambassador Laith Al-Athari, Head of the Neighboring Countries Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anal Bora Inan, at the Ministry's building. The meeting focused on the political and logistical preparations for the visit, which is planned for later this month.
Ambassador Al-Athari highlighted the significance of ongoing coordination and the development of the partnership between Iraq and Turkey across various sectors, aiming to strengthen bilateral relations. The Turkish Ambassador reiterated Turkey's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Iraq and expressed a desire to broaden the partnership to fulfill the common interests of both nations.
