Karbala: The Governor of Holy Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, inaugurated the Rare Books Exhibition at the Central Library in Karbala. The event showcases a remarkable collection of old and rare books and publications, some dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor Al-Khattabi highlighted the significance of preserving libraries and cultural centers, which are vital repositories of knowledge, documents, and rare publications. He stressed the importance of making these resources accessible to researchers, interested individuals, and future generations to bolster Karbala’s reputation as a city with a rich civilization, culture, and intellectual heritage.
