Baghdad: The Real Estate Registry has directed the completion of all requirements for preparing a database of citizens in support of the initiative to distribute one million plots. The Real Estate Registration Department announced the commencement of preparations to create a database of property owners across all real estate registration directorates, in support of the initiative to distribute one million residential plots.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director General of the Real Estate Registration Department, Ibtisam Rahim Al-Saadi, stated in a press release: “This directive came during a meeting with the directors of the real estate registration directorates, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Justice, Dr. Khalid Shawani, and within the framework of supporting Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi’s initiative to distribute one million residential plots, with the aim of organizing real estate data and facilitating distribution procedures.”

She added: “The relevant directors and specialized committees have been instructed to take the necessary preparatory measures to establish the database, while completing all work requirements and strengthening coordination with relevant institutions, to ensure the commencement of implementation and the completion of the project with the required speed and accuracy.”
