Baghdad: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard: announced on Sunday the arrest of an armed cell consisting of eight members linked to the monarchist movement in Fars province in southern Iran, as well as the seizure of a shipment of weapons and ammunition in West Azerbaijan province in the northwest of the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Revolutionary Guard stated in a press release: “An armed cell linked to the monarchist movement, consisting of eight members, was arrested in Fars province in the south of the country.”

The statement also indicated that “a shipment of weapons and ammunition was also seized in West Azerbaijan province in the northwest of the country.”
