Russia Launches Strikes on Ukrainian Military and Port Facilities

Odessa:Moscow The Russian Ministry of Defense has declared that its forces executed extensive strikes on military-industrial facilities and port infrastructure in Ukraine.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry revealed in a press release that the attacks employed precision ground-based weapons and drones, leading to the destruction of port infrastructure and naval vessels in the Odessa region associated with the Ukrainian armed forces.

The ministry further reported that the strikes also targeted facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, particularly those involved in the production and storage of long- and medium-range drones. Additionally, energy facilities that support drone operations in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk were hit.

These military actions occur as diplomatic efforts to resolve the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian crisis, which has persisted since February 2022, remain at a standstill.
