Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Sunday that the army’s on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones last night over Russian territory and the Sea of Azov.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in an official statement: “Last night, from 8:00 PM Moscow time on August 9 to 6:10 AM Moscow time on August 10, 121 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by on-duty air defense systems.”

The Ministry provided a breakdown of the interceptions, indicating that 29 drones were destroyed over the Krasnodar Territory, 15 over the Republic of Crimea, and 13 over the Bryansk Region. Additionally, 12 drones were intercepted over the Belgorod Region, 9 over the Voronezh Region, and 8 each over the Saratov and Stavropol Regions. The Kaluga Region saw 7 drones intercepted, while the Tula Region had 6. Five drones were destroyed over the Rostov Region, 4 over the Ryazan Region, 2 over the Sea of Azov, and 1 each over the Smolensk, Oryol, and Tver Regions.
