Saudi Arabia Condemns Attacks on Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Office


Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has condemned the recent attacks on the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which specifically targeted the office of the Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani. This attack has been described as a clear violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.



According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement denouncing the assault. The Kingdom expressed its strongest condemnation and denunciation of the actions, reiterating its complete rejection of any hostile operations that aim to target public and political figures. The statement emphasized that such actions undermine the security and stability of Iraqi state institutions.



The ministry further asserted Saudi Arabia’s firm stance against any interference in the internal affairs of states, highlighting the importance of respecting sovereignty, good neighborliness, and international law. The Kingdom stands in solidarity with Iraq and its institutions, advocating for the preservation of peace and security in the region.
