Riyadh: Al-Nasr defeated Abha 2-1 on Wednesday in the final match of the sixth round of the Saudi Professional League. Cristiano Ronaldo scored Al-Nasr’s first goal in the 22nd minute, followed by Abdullah Al-Hamdan’s goal in the 58th minute. Nabil Fekir scored Abha’s lone goal in the 75th minute. With this result, Al-Nasr moved to second place with 15 points, trailing Al-Hilal, who lead the league on goal difference. Abha remained at the bottom of the table with one point.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, in another match of the same round, Al-Diriyah defeated Al-Fateh 2-1. Darwin Nunez scored for Al-Diriyah in the 28th minute, and Adel Boulbina equalized for Al-Diriyah in the 45th minute (plus six minutes of added time). Faisal Abdulwahed scored Al-Fateh’s goal in the 35th minute. Al-Diriyah raised its points tally to 10, placing them seventh, while Al-Fateh remained on 3 points in sixteenth place.
Al-Kholoud also defeated Al-Shabab 2-1, bringing their total to 12 points and securing sixth place, while Al-Shabab remained on 3 points in fifteenth place.
