Seminar Explores Future of Digital Media at Diyala University


Diyala: A seminar titled “Digital Media at Diyala University: An Academic Vision to Keep Pace with the Future” was recently held at the Palace of Culture and Arts in Diyala, in collaboration with the College of Basic Education at Diyala University. The event focused on the digital media specializations offered by the college, such as digital journalism, radio, and television. The seminar aimed to highlight the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for the modern media job market.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hamid al-Hamdani, Director of the Palace of Culture and Arts, emphasized the seminar’s discussions on the future of media amidst digital transformation. He stressed the importance of preparing media professionals equipped with modern technological tools to create competitive professional content that can reach audiences across various platforms.



Al-Hamdani also highlighted the crucial role of cultural institutions in organizing seminars that address current cultural and media issues. He pointed out that such collaborations with academic institutions in the governorate are vital for supporting young talent and opening new opportunities for them.
