Several Energy Facilities Shut Down in Saudi Arabia After Attack from Yemen


Saudi arabia: The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday the temporary suspension of operations at several energy facilities in the southern region of the Kingdom, following an attack earlier that day.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry explained in a statement that “the attacks launched by Ansar Allah (the Houthis) caused fires at several locations, resulting in the temporary shutdown of a number of energy facilities.”



The Ministry affirmed that “the Kingdom has the legitimate right to take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty, protect its resources, and safeguard its population.”
