Baghdad: Rayan al-Kaldani, head of the Babylon Movement, met with Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, to discuss the latest political developments in the country and emphasize the importance of strengthening coordination and consultation among national forces to support stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also addressed ways to develop mechanisms for joint action and unify visions on priority national issues, serving the public interest and strengthening the state’s path at this stage.

Both sides stressed the necessity of continuing constructive dialogue and intensifying communication among the various political parties to ensure that challenges are addressed with a spirit of responsibility and national partnership, and to fulfill citizens’ aspirations for stability and development.
