Ankara: The Spokesman for the Southern Government Forces in Yemen, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al-Naqeeb, affirmed that the Southern Government Forces will not withdraw from their positions, considering the current deployments to be a field gain that enhances security and stability in southern Yemen. Earlier, the Southern Government Forces confirmed the stability of the situation in Hadramawt and their readiness to defend the south.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, they called on citizens in Hadramawt to remain calm and not be swayed by rumors, indicating that the situation is stable and under complete control. Yemeni media also quoted a military source as saying that “the Southern Government Forces are monitoring developments with a high degree of responsibility and full readiness.”

The source added: “Our cause is the restoration of our homeland and legitimate rights, not a war against any authority.” The Southern Government Forces emphasized their readiness “to defend the territory of the south with all that they possess.”
