Baghdad: The laboratories of the southern region have completed the analysis of 31 chemical samples as part of their ongoing environmental monitoring efforts. These analyses contribute to the comprehensive environmental monitoring programs and aim to enhance the efficiency of laboratory analyses in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Environmental Analysis Division of the Department of Environmental Protection and Improvement in the Southern Region conducted more than 500 laboratory tests to support these efforts. Dr. Ali Wahab Ahmed, the Director General of the Department, affirmed that the laboratories are operating in alignment with approved technical plans. He emphasized that the Environmental Analysis Division has finalized the test results and transmitted them electronically to the laboratories division to ensure prompt report preparation and precise data documentation. These efforts are integral to supporting environmental monitoring and assessment initiatives.
