Ankara: Speaker of Parliament Haybat al-Halbousi departed for Turkey on Monday for an official visit. Al-Halbousi, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, traveled to the Turkish capital, Ankara, in response to an official invitation from the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmus.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker’s media office issued a press release stating that the visit aims to strengthen parliamentary relations and discuss a number of issues of mutual interest.
