Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, discussed ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation with the Ambassadors of Algeria and Hungary.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker’s media office stated in a press release that “Speaker of Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, received, in two separate meetings, the Hungarian Ambassador, Osama Nafaa, and the Algerian Ambassador, Jihad Eddine Belkacem.”

The statement added, “During the two meetings, bilateral relations, ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation, and a number of issues of common interest were discussed.”

The Algerian Ambassador delivered a congratulatory message from the Speaker of the Algerian National People’s Assembly, Ibrahim Bougali, to Speaker of Parliament, Haibat al-Halbousi, on the occasion of his election as Speaker for the sixth session.
