Baghdad: The Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Haibet Alhalbousi, met with the Head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin, during his official visit to Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Turkiye. The meeting focused on regional and international developments and ways to enhance cooperation between Iraq and Turkiye.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office of the Parliament stated that the discussions included security and counter-terrorism efforts. The meeting also addressed several issues of mutual interest to both countries.
