Najaf: The Supreme Committee for the Funeral Ceremonies of the Martyr Sayyid Ali Khamenei held two significant conferences in the cities of Najaf and Karbala to address the final arrangements and stress the importance of implementing all necessary organizational procedures and directives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell released a statement indicating that the Supreme Committee, tasked with organizing the funeral ceremonies for the martyred leader Sayyid Khamenei, convened two separate meetings. The first was held in Najaf and the second in Karbala. These conferences were led by Dr. Ihsan Al-Awadi and Lieutenant General Dr. Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, who discussed the final coordination efforts needed for the occasion in these regions.

The discussions included briefings from security leaders and pertinent authorities to ensure the completion of the established plans and the effective distribution of tasks and responsibilities among all involved commanders. The focus was on integrating security, coordination, and service plans in a way that reflects Iraq’s significance.

Detailed arrangements regarding the timing, ceremonies, and locations of the funeral processions in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala were also deliberated.
